School Lunches

Please order school meals with our provider - Ideal School Meals. 

if you should have any problems with your account or with ordering your child's meals, then yo ucan contact ideal School meals on 01522 246424; on Mondays and Tuesdays between teh horus of 9am and 4pm; and on Wednesdays and Fridays between 9am and 2.45pm.

Please remember that it is your responsibilitty to order a meal for your child. if yo uforget to do so, you will need to speak with Ideal School meals to see if they can organise a meal for your child, or oprovide a packed lunch for yoru child yourself.

 

Is your child entitled to Free School Meals?

Given the current situation of rising costs, your financial situation at home may have changed. You might not be aware that families who receive certain benefits may be eligible for Free School Meals.

Your child is eligible for Free School Meals if you are in receipt of one of the following:

  • Universal credit with an annual net income of no more than £7,400 (after tax and not including any benefits you get)
  • Income Support
  • Income-based Jobseeker's Allowance
  • Income-realted Employment and Support Allowance
  • Support under Part 6 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
  • the guarantee element of State Pension Credit
  • Working Tax Credit run-on (paid for hte four weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit)
  • Child TAx credit (provided you are not also entitled to Working Tax Credit) with an annual income of no mroe than £16,190

Healthy school food has obvious health benefits and can help pupisl establish health yhabits for life. Healthy school food can also help to improve pupils' readiness to learn.

 

Registering for Free School Meals could also raise an extra £1,320 for our school, to fund valuable support for your child, such as extra tuition, additiona lteachign staff or after school activities. this additional money is available from central government for every child whose parent is receiving one of the benefits listed above.
